ABOUT
STRETCH + THRIVE

At Stretch + Thrive, everything we do is centered around assisted stretching for a life in motion. We work one-on-one with clients of all ages, abilities, and activity levels to improve mobility, flexibility, and overall movement quality in a way that feels safe, effective, and fully personalized.

Our mission is simple: to help you move more freely, feel better in your body, and continue doing the things you love - whether that’s working, exercising, playing with your kids or grandkids, or simply getting through your day with less pain and stiffness. Getting older doesn’t mean you have to slow down or give up the activities that bring you joy.

Stretch + Thrive focuses on proactive wellness, not quick fixes. Each session is designed to meet you exactly where you are, respect your body’s limits, and support long-term movement health. Through guided, hands-on assisted stretching, we help improve flexibility, reduce tension, support mobility, and build a stronger foundation for daily life.

We believe movement is medicine. With the right guidance, consistency, and support, your body is capable of far more than you may realize. At Stretch + Thrive, we don’t just help you stretch — we help you thrive.

ABOUT
AMBER BAKER

Hi, I’m Amber Baker, owner of Stretch + Thrive in downtown Findlay, Ohio. My passion for helping people feel better in their bodies didn’t come from a straight or traditional path. It grew from real-life experience, personal challenges, and a deep desire to help others move through life with less pain, more ease, and greater confidence.

Later in life, I returned to school to pursue a career in healthcare, earning my license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. I spent years working in traditional physical therapy settings, helping people recover from injuries, manage pain, and improve movement. While that work was meaningful, I began to feel drawn toward a more proactive approach, one focused on supporting the body before surgery, injections, or long-term medication become the only options.

At the same time, my own health journey helped shape this vision. Like many people, I experienced firsthand how easy it is to put yourself last and accept discomfort as “just part of getting older.” Discovering alternative, movement-based approaches outside the traditional healthcare model was eye-opening. It showed me that relief, balance, and better movement are often possible with the right support.

That realization is what inspired me to create Stretch + Thrive, a welcoming space where people feel supported, heard, and empowered to care for their bodies. Through assisted stretching and intentional movement, my goal is to help clients restore balance, move more freely, and feel confident in their ability to live an active, fulfilling life.
